Review Of The HP Elitebook x360 1040 And Where To Buy In Kenya

HP laptops are undeniably one of the most reliable laptops you can buy in Kenya. You can imagine the excitement when HP announced that they would be releasing a 14-inch 2-in-1 laptop with a battery that lasts for 24 hours on a single charge.

Today we will be reviewing the magnificent HP Eitebook x360 1040 G6 and show you where to buy one in Kenya.

The EliteBook x360 1040 G6 intends to incorporate almost all of HP’s business and enterprise functionalities (at least optionally), including privacy screens, privacy cameras, Sure Sense anti-malware protection, TPM 2.0, etc., with a 1W LCD panel, powered by Intel’s 8th Gen Core processor, and encased in a 1.69-cm thick aluminum chassis.

The EliteBook x360 1040 G6 comes into play when, nowadays, a high-capacity battery is a necessity for laptops.

The EliteBook x360 1040 G6’s battery life is its main selling point.

While it would seem reasonable to expect the laptop to utilize a battery with a high capacity (70Wh+), this is not the case.

The laptop features a 56.2 Wh battery, which is comparable to other PCs in its class, but it also boasts a specifically built UWVA touch-enabled display panel with a Full-HD resolution.

When the panel’s brightness isn’t turned all the way up, it uses just about a watt of power, allowing the laptop to run for a long period of time on a single charge—24 hours, if we are being specific.

Meanwhile, HP plans to release additional EliteBook x360 1040 G6 models with Full-HD displays.

The EliteBook x360 1040 G6 is equipped with a 14-inch Full-HD display panel that requires just 1 watt of electricity and is powered by Intel’s quad-core Core i7-8665U CPU with UHD Graphics 620.

The device may then be configured with up to 32 GB of DDR4-2666 RAM and a 2 TB SSD, which is an unusual combination for a 14-inch laptop.

The notebook boasts an 802.11ax + Bluetooth 5 controller, Thunderbolt 3 USB ports, a 1080p webcam, and a sophisticated audio subsystem co-designed with Bang & Olufsen, among other features.

There are just too many configuration choices available from HP to mention them all here.

However, Tile integration (device tracking), 4G LTE (5G is coming eventually), an NFC module, up to 2TB of storage, the Wacom AES 2.0 Pen, and panels ranging from matte full HD to Sure View Reflect with 1000 nits of brightness up to 4K UHD with touch are the most popular.

The HP EliteBook x360 1040 G7 isn’t inexpensive, but it has lots of corporate IT appeal thanks to its elegant design and optional Intel vPro support.

We cannot forget to add that until now, businesses who wanted to avoid visual hacking had to buy obnoxious $30 privacy screens that had to be physically fitted.

It’s difficult to overestimate how much easier it is to enable privacy mode with a single keystroke.

Enjoy the cool features of the HP Elitebook x360 1040, which has the following features:

Core i7, RAM capacity of 16 GB, and SSD with a 512 GB capacity.
