1. Get your workplace ready for the work

2. The Next Step Remove the Chair from the Base

To remove the base turn the chair upside down. Then Locate the screws that attach the seat to the base. And Remove these screws with the screwdriver. Then Once the screws are out, gently lift the seat away from the base.

3. Then Remove the Old Base

If the base has a gas lift cylinder, you might need to remove it. Check for a clip or screw holding it in place and remove it if necessary. Then Pull the gas lift cylinder out of the base. You may need to twist it a bit to free it.

4. Put the New Base

After you have removed the old base you Insert the  gas lift cylinder into the new base. And make sure it fits securely.Then you can re-attach the seat to the new base and make sure the screw holes are lined up. Finally Secure the seat with screws, tightening them up well.

5. Test the Chair

Finally put the seat back to its normal position and now test it if its comfortable and everything ok.
