Overuse of fresh water in household settings means there is less fresh water for agricultural use these in turn affects humans on a food scarcity level. Many livestock species rely on freshwater. Wasting water or overusing water means you are wasting the energy intensive process of filtration.
Deteriorating water quality is damaging the environment, hence everyone needs to be careful on waste dumping as the quality of water affects our health in many ways. Failure to take care of the environment is neglecting our health and our life’s.
Cutting down trees, polluting the water affects the amount and quality of water. Great leaders of these nation like late Wangari Mathai who understood the relationship between water and trees in great ways campaigned for planning of tress and preserving water, they also fought against water pollution. When there is a waterborne disease outbreak many die of it due to high levels of water pollution as the disease is spread through the water.
